Partner With Us

The motivation behind One Cross Community Health Center is to offer high-quality health care of body, mind and spirit because Jesus is the Healer. It really is as simple as that. We know that medical science, advanced and necessary as it is, cannot heal the deep parts of hurting hearts and broken lives.

A division of our clinic is recognized as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Funds in this program are used for the operational expenses of our community outreach programs.

LIVE2LEAD

Live 2 Lead is a full-day leadership and personal growth event hosted each year in partnership with 3trees Church. This event is an annual leadership gathering developed by the John Maxwell Company. One Cross Community Health Center founder Kim Mckenna-Johnson is an executive director in the John Maxwell team. Kim believes in adding value to the community of Campbellsville by bringing leadership opportunities to its people. We offer discount tickets to the event so that all who are interested have the opportunity to attend. One Cross Community Health Center offers 50 free tickets each year for college students in the area. One Cross Community Health Center believes in sowing the seeds of servant-based, values-based leadership into the community. We hope to equip attendees with renewed passion and drive to create change in their own communities.

Hope for the Heartland Network is a group of faith leaders in the community of Campbellsville who have come together to address the opioid crisis in the community from a faith perspective. One Cross Community Health Center spearheaded the creation of the network and, to date, has donated more than $6,000 worth of supplies and training to the network. One Cross Community Health Center is interested in supporting a faith-based perspective in healing the hopelessness and brokenness that is happening to some families in our community. One of the ways that One Cross Community Health Center is helping to create a long-lasting solution for the crisis in our community is by training leaders in the community to lead Celebrate Recovery in their own churches. Kim and Larry Johnson, owners of One Cross Community Health Center, have dedicated many hours to the mission of helping churches develop Celebrate Recovery programs for their congregations. The hope is to have a Celebrate Recovery going on in the community every night of the week. What we love about Celebrate Recovery is that it helps any person dealing with a hurt, habit, or hang-up that is not beneficial to them. It is a program that is not just centered on addiction: It is also for individuals struggling with anger, codependency, eating disorders, sexual addiction, marital problems, etc.

The most exciting thing about the program is that it exists for total family healing.

This consists of programs to help the teenage and younger children of those adults suffering from hurts, habits, or hang-ups. One Cross Community Health Center has always had a heart to proactively identify, empower, and guide high-risk youth away from addictive behaviors, and it’s blossomed into a curriculum. We don’t want to let young people in our community drift into easy paths to bad choices. Instead, we want to introduce them to the love of Christ and to solid coping mechanisms long before they’re confronted with risky situations. By equipping youths with tools to boldly confront their histories and deal with their unique present struggles, they will be empowered to make the right choices in the future.

The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared toward junior and high school age students. The curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for youth. The Landing exists to provide a safe place for students to process independent life and the struggles that accompany it, providing tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and to point them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Celebration Place is the children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for children ages 5-13 years. This Christ-centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Group for Adults. We refer to it as the Pre-Covery Program. By striving to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families, Celebration Place lets children experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others while cultivating their own relationships with God. They also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.
