Mental Health & Addiction Recovery

With our commitment to excellence, we offer model counseling and social-work services that assist with the handicaps imposed by mental health conditions, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, and recovery. We provide individual and family counseling, and also offer peer support to patients struggling with addiction.

Behavioral Health

Acute and chronic illnesses often result from longstanding unhealthy behaviors and habits (physical, mental, and emotional), compounded by stress. Our preventative behavioral approach can help patients cultivate healthy behaviors and habits and manage stress skillfully. One Cross Community Health Center offers a variety of integrative approaches to prevent and manage stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions.

One approach offered in our behavioral health services is EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). EMDR is hailed as the most important method to emerge in psychotherapy in decades, having been successfully used to treat complex psychological illness and problems ranging from depression, phobias, and recurrent nightmares to post-traumatic stress disorder and longstanding grief, in more than 1 million suffers worldwide and with a speed that defies belief. One Cross Community Health Center has one of the few trained professionals in this type of treatment.

We also offer a variety of other modalities in helping folks who suffer from depression, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar conditions, and addiction problems.

Addiction Treatment

One Cross Community Health Center has partnered with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation to offer the best integrated addiction treatment available in Campbellsville. One Cross Community Health Center does everything with excellence! Therefore, we chose to partner with the world’s top and most experienced organization in addiction recovery. Hazelden Betty Ford has been saving lives and restoring families from substance abuse and addiction for over 70 years. One Cross has a strong desire to restore hope and healing to the families and those in our community who have been affected by addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We offer full care and support to clients suffering from addiction, as well as family support and care.

We offer Medically Assisted Treatment to those suffering from addiction. MAT is the use of medication and behavioral therapies in people with opioid and alcohol-related use disorders.

One Cross Community Health Center also offers peer support care to help guide participants in the program to healthy living. We provide assistance with obtaining housing, inpatient rehabilitation, transportation, and jobs, among other things.

To become part of our peer support program, please make an appointment with our peer support specialist.

Celebrate Recovery

This consists of programs to help the teenage and younger children of those adults suffering from hurts, habits, or hang-ups. One Cross Community Health Center has always had a heart to proactively identify, empower, and guide high-risk youth away from addictive behaviors, and it’s blossomed into a curriculum. We don’t want to let young people in our community drift into easy paths to bad choices. Instead, we want to introduce them to the love of Christ and to solid coping mechanisms long before they’re confronted with risky situations. By equipping youths with tools to boldly confront their histories and deal with their unique present struggles, they will be empowered to make the right choices in the future.

The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared toward junior and high school age students. The curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for youth. The Landing exists to provide a safe place for students to process independent life and the struggles that accompany it, providing tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and to point them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Celebration Place is the children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for children ages 5-13 years. This Christ-centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Group for Adults. We refer to it as the Pre-Covery Program. By striving to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families, Celebration Place lets children experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others while cultivating their own relationships with God. They also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.
